ITALY CORPORATE GOVERNANCE CONFERENCE
You are cordially invited to the Italy Corporate Governance Conference 2015, hosted by the Italian Corporate Governance Committee, that will be held on the 3rd and 4th December at Palazzo Mezzanotte - Piazza Affari 6, Milan.
The ICG Conference, created and organized by Assogestioni and Assonime, aims to give the international financial community an opportunity to discuss on the most relevant corporate governance topics for institutional investors and listed companies. The ICG Conference is organized in cooperation with the OECD and with the support of Borsa Italiana.
The first session of the ICG Conference will start in the afternoon of the 3rd of December with the opening speech of Claudio De Vincenti, State Secretary to the Italian Prime Minister, and will continue with the following panels:
- Directors’ nomination process: “voto di lista” or US’ proxy access rule
- From capital markets to governance: how can investor stewardship be enhanced in Italy?
The second session will take place on the 4thof December in the morning with the opening speech of Pier Carlo Padoan, Italian Minister of Economy and Finance, and will continue with the following panels:
- Long-term value creation instruments: the case for and against differential voting
- The new G20/OECD Principles of Corporate Governance
- How the Italian Corporate Governance Code application impacts on issuers’ corporate practices and institutional investors’ portfolio decision-making process
